HDR- High Dynamic Range.

 GET STARTED

An HDR ( high dynamic range) photographs is one in which a number of photographs of varying exposures are combined to create an image with a wide range of tones. done right, the results are stunning...

PREPARE

Though HDRs can make just about any subject look good, landscape are prime candidates for this type  of photography. cloudy days are also conducive to good HDRs. when you are ready to go on your shoot, I remind you to as always clean your gear, recharge your batteries and reformat your cards, pack up!!!

LETS STARTED

In order to make an HDR ,you will need to have your camera take automatically bracketed pictures. to do this, follow these steps:-

  • set your camera aperture priority
  • press and hold mode and AF- drive buttons. this turns on auto exposure bracketing (set the number of shots to 5 in custom functions)
  • set your camera to shoot in burst mode. see your camera's manual for instructions on how to do this for your specific camera.
  • switch your camera to continuous high-speed release mode.
